With years of experience in ecological consultancy, Rozanna is a highly skilled and experienced in project management, Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, protected species mitigation license applications, and ecological management plans.
She has undertaken surveys for UK and EU protected species including the great crested newt, badger, wetland birds, bat, otter, water vole, dormouse, crayfish and reptiles.
She has also completed Phase 1 and 2 habitat and scoping surveys along with hedgerow assessments and invasive species, National Vegetation Classification and Ecological Clerk of Works (ECoW) shifts on various rail, pipeline, and development sites.
Rozanna has a Postgraduate Certificate in Countryside Management from Manchester Metropolitan University and a BSc (Hons.) from Lancaster University. She is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) and holds a current survey/disturbance licence for great crested newt and BSBI Field Identification Skills Certificate in botany.
Among her project work is assisting with black grouse surveys and upland bird surveys at remote sites in the Cumbrian uplands for Northern Gas Networks.
Rozanna has been involved in badger mitigation, monitoring and activity checks on the water main for Barhale Plc. in the Midlands Birmingham Resilience Pipeline Project.
She also provided ecological advice on the refurbishment of Elan Valley Aqueduct in mid Wales and undertaken Phase 1 and Phase 2 surveys for reptiles, bats, badgers plus hedgerows assessments.
