January 20, 2021 by Shaun Milne

The battle against the Mackenzie Basin invaders captures from the air the conservation work underway on New Zealand’s South Island.

Filmed by Cody Whitelaw with words by Sonny Whitelaw, our Head of New Zealand operations, it captures with breathtaking footage the extent of the efforts underway around the area.

It also looks at how wilding pine has brought major challenges to the area, not least wild fires and discusses the New Zealand Government’s plan of action, complicated further by the global coronavirus pandemic.
